My Way

 

 

 

아주 멀리 왔다고 생각했는데
돌아다 볼 것 없어
정말 높이 올랐다 느꼈었는데
내려다 볼 곳 없네

처음에는 나에게도 두려움 없었지만
어느새 겁만은 놈으로 변해 있었어
누구나 한번쯤은 넘어질수 있어
이제와 주저앉아 있을수는 없어

내가 가야할 이길에 지쳐쓰러지는 날까지
일어나 한번 더 부딪혀 보는거야

 

때론 큰 산 앞에서 무릎 끓고서
포기도 하려 했어
처음처럼 또다시 돌아가려고
무작정 찾으려 했어

처음에는 나에게도 두려움 없었지만
어느새 겁만은 놈으로 변해 있었어
누구나 한번쯤은 넘어질수 있어
이제와 주저앉아 있을수는 없어

내가 가야하는 일들에 지쳐쓰러지는 날까지
일어나 한번더 부딪혀 보는거야 

 

 

 

And now the end is near 
And so I face the final curtain 
My friend, I'll say it clear 
I'll state my case of which I'm certain  
I've lived a life that's full  
I traveled each and every highway  
 And more, much more than this I did it my way  

Regrets, I've had a few  
But then again too few to mention  
I did what I had to do  
And saw it through without exemption  
I planned each chartered course

Yes there were times I'm sure you  
Knew when I bit off more than I could chew  
But through it all when there was doubt  
I ate it up and spit it out  
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way 

I've loved, I've laughed and cried  
I've had my fill, my share of losing  
And now as tears subside  
I find it all so amusing to think I did all that  
And may I say not in a shy way  
Oh, no, oh no not me  
I did it my way  

For what is a man, what has he got  
If not himself then he has naught  
To say the things he truly feels  
And not the words of on-e who kneels  
The record shows I took the blows  
And did it my way  
Yes, it was my way
