해바라기

The last rose of summer

'Tis the last rose of summer,
Left blooming alone;
All her lovely companions are faded and gone;
No flow"r of her kindred,
No rosebud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes,
Or give sigh for sigh.
 
I"ll not leave thee, thou lone one,
To pine on the stem;
Since the lovely are sleeping,
Go, sleep thou with them;
Thus kindly I scatter
Thy leaves o"er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden
Lie scentless and dead.

So soon may I follow,
When friendships decay,
And from love"s shining circle
The gems drop away!
When true hearts lie wither"d,
And fond ones are flown,
Oh! who would inhabit
This bleak world alone?
  

여름의 마지막 장미꽃 하나 홀로 피어 남아있네
사랑하는 옆 친구들은 모두 사라졌고
꽃잎도 없고 꽃 순도 이제 남은 게 없네.
빨갛던 얼굴들을 서로 볼 수도 슬픔을 주고받을 수도 없구나.

줄기라도 기억해 주기위해
외로운 그대 혼자 남겨 놓고 난 떠나지 않을 께...
가서 친구들과 같이 잠들어요.
친구들이 떨어져 잠든 화단에 같이..
잎파리 그대 잠든 위에 사뿐히 뿌려 줄 테니

나도 친구들이 없어지면 곧 따라가렵니다.
찬란했던 우정들이 사라지고
진실된 마음들이 없어지면 아까운 것들이 모두 다 없어집니다.
아! 누가 남아 살아갈까 이 황량한 세상에 혼자서
